About the event
The New Generation Gallery was created to celebrate the next generation of artists by providing a welcoming and professional space to share their work with the community. Exhibition opportunities are offered free of charge to artists under the age of 21.
Whether you're creating your first body of work, exploring new ideas, or developing your artistic voice, we invite you to submit an exhibition proposal for the 2027 season.
We welcome proposals from young artists working in all visual art disciplines, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fibre art, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, digital art, and installation. Exhibiting your work is an opportunity to gain experience, build your portfolio, connect with visitors, and contribute to the creative life of rural Nova Scotia. Every artist begins somewhere, and the New Generation Gallery is a place to experiment, grow, and share your unique perspective with others.
